Hi!
My name is Christian van de Werken… I am a Fashion Stylist. 
Fashion is my life, as well it should be - over $300 billion is spent annually on style. I have always kept a keen eye on the industry, and I have a better sense of style than most other people my age and I can at any moment give you the most important trends of the season. Without a doubt, I am a very covetable, and valuable fashion resource.
As a Stylist, I enjoy sketching my designs and work on a regular pad of sketching paper with colored pencils, black ink pens and Copic markers. My favorite medium is sketching because it allows me to draw exactly what I want my designs to represent. It goes without saying that I also enjoy sewing. I’d be lost without this skill because some of my designs eventually get turned into reality. Additionally, I work with Photoshop (CS4) and produce some of my designs through this wonderful program.
A great bulk of my work was represented by my first photoshoot - my Film Noir-themed editorial. I feel that I would be nowhere without the experience I gained from styling my own photoshoots. The clothes came from a myriad of sources, and were placed together by me to design and create the outfits and ensembles. I even hand-stitched a red satin dress to be used as my signature piece for the collection. My team and I (a bevy of hair stylists, a makeup designer, a photographer, my production assistant, a videographer, and my models - all selected by me) took the photos in downtown Denver so that we could truly take advantage of the old buildings and aged structures to make the clothes appear their best - which was always my intent.
I plan to do many, many more shoots to come. I feel that this year will be highly productive, certainly more stylish and will allow me to reach new heights not only as a stylist.

My style is unparalleled, and you’ll have a hard time finding someone who not only has as much passion and experience as I do, but also has had a fantastic sense of style since forever. I have developed meaningful relationships with Sales Associates at major Department Stores and Boutiques around Denver and Aspen and have solid contacts within the industry with other designers, photographers and fashion bloggers - so if there’s a resource that we need to utilize to find your unique look, I have access to it.
I have high asperations to go far in the Fashion Industry, and as I’ve always said: “I make the impossible seem easy!”
